Inspiration

The miraculous recovery I had from my ailment gave me the best opportunity to know and experience Jesus very closely, it gave me the inspiration to reach out to all those who are going through similar worries. The way I maintain the strength for continuing this mission is through my prayers, the spiritual strength I get through the fellowship of our group and our worship is doing wonders for all of us in our mission and personal life.

We get together for worship and sermon on all Thursdays at 2.30 Pm at St. Antony's church, PuduVypeen, followed by Holy Mass.

We are amazed at the number of people who join for this worship from far and near and at the number of prayer request we receive from different parts of the world. We feel really blessed by this wonderful opportunity to  reach out to all these people and their problems in every way we could. Indeed we are delighted when we receive thank you notes from them, we are very happy that we got an opportunity to glorify God.

You too, may feel free to send in your prayer request, we will be only too glad pray for your intentions in our worship & prayer sessions.

Our Aim

We have painfully realized, the ones who deserve our help most in our society is the abandoned sick people, who have no one to care, no where to go and so helpless and weak to even help themselves.

Its our ultimate aim to build a shelter for these people where we can restore them to life by being a loving somebody to them.

Its also our concern to help those children from poor & neglected families who are bright enough to study but could not carry on due to their financial problems. We would like to guide them back to their school, college and a better life.

Activities

Years ago, when I started, we were concentrating on Ernakulam General Hospital, which is the abode for the poor in our society, "Isolation Ward" and other wards we used to provide lunch, three days a week.

We bought medicines for those who cannot afford to buy the prescription drugs which were not available at hospital dispensary.

We nursed, we bathed, we took care of destitute s in the isolation ward.

This was the first four years of our service.

During these period I understood, the coastal area of Vypeen and adjacent places have more need for our kind of service, so we  moved to Paravoor & Njarakkal Government Hospitals & adjacent coastal areas. Servicing two hospitals with lunch and medical aid became little too difficult for me, since our financial resources were limited. Due to this money constraint we are unable to reach out to many in these coastal area, who requires us. But we are sure, one way or the other God will strengthen us to reach out to all those require us.

Our Mission

  • To take care, provide for, nurse those who are sick and old, helpless & bedridden, abandoned by the society.
  • To provide food for the needy who are admitted to Government Hospitals, which is the abode for the most miserables and those who live on the street.
  • To provide for education of poor children so that they get a better chance at life.
  • To support and maintain very poor families by giving them rice other food necessities & money.
  • Offering spiritual guidance and prayer assistance to all those who request.
